I got myself a nice Tecsun PL330 and I've been happily DXing the sadly dwindling number of European stations on the band (I'm in Ireland) and even managed to hear VOCM from Newfoundland, as well as plenty of shortwave and amateur stuff. Yesterday during my lunch break I went out to the van and dialed in the NRC and RFG to some decent levels. I lowered the RFG a bit to knock out some of the long distance skip weak that was coming in.
