I was monitoring SARA, ISICS, and WESTCOM, when I realized I hadn't heard any transmissions for around 30 min. I looked at my scanner and notice absolutely no signal strength showing in the upper right-hand corner of the display. It appeared to be scanning through all the towers just as it always does. I read where the 20-546 cable won’t work for firmware upgrades. The firmware also has 04A11 printed on it? A new compatible cable is $35. Is it worth that to go from 1.09 to 1.10? I’m using Win10 and have a FTDI driver for the USB-1 port. Is a different driver needed for the cable? The cable must have worked being the scanner was purchased in 2012 and has1.09 firmware... Ledyard FD OPS CLMRN 17206 A couple weeks ago the channel stopped coming across my pager. All other channels work. I tried reprogramming it several times with no luck. Looking to find out why it has randomly stopped. I even redownloaded it from radio reference and it still doesn't work. View article »
