03-13-26 DPS Unit Numbering The other day, I heard radio traffic on DPS primary on the GATRRS system. The unit calling was 8 Henry and a three digit unit number. This would be just like a highway... 03-13-26, 14:00 pm The other day, I heard radio traffic on DPS primary on the GATRRS system. The unit calling was 8 Henry and a three digit unit number. This would be just like a highway patrol unit, except there's no Region 8 nor would there be Henry in the unit number. Any ideas who or what the unit was? View article »
03-13-26 G5 w/current fw...display issue. The display on this G5 is plenty bright....but randomly it dims a bit...then gets bright again...up/down...totally random...anyone ever seen that? The sensitivity is per spec on the 10 frequencies listed in the manual for performance testing but once programmed off of these frequencies it is stone deaf - like 1000uV even does not get through.
