What are people having to pay for these and do they actually work well for their main intended purpose? How well does all the fluff features work? I've been having an eye towards the LDG tuners but this is a step up in the interface dept. to say the least. But pretty bows on top don't mean squat if doesn't tune well. I also recall a few years ago that a forum member mentioned NYCOMCO is migrating the EDACS system to P25, but with Putnam County P25 in full time use and Dutchess County P25 system soon online. It was hard to hear the auto-dispatch voice, but it sounded like maybe they were using 2C? Does anyone know if this is a temporary change or what’s happening? I have an Icom IC-7300 MK2, and I'm operating from a rooftop terrace, roughly 8m × 3m with open sky; however, the terrace is surrounded by two walls, so it's a bit like being at the bottom of a small canyon.
