They are both a lot smaller than the typical full featured CB / 10 meter radios. I like the look of the AT-5289, but i like the small size and TX / RX range of the HG-6699. TX is 21.000 - 29.999, so 10, 11, 12, and 15 meter capable. The coolest part is the RX is capable of 1 - 30 mhz. Meaning shortwave listening and sand bagging on the HF bands. I’ve also tried with my anytone but that doesn’t work. I thought sfr is basically transmitting on ts1 and rx on ts2. By monitoring on my Anytone I get the idea that the ts are chosen randomly. I’ve to admit it’s almost impossible to test since you will receive signals from both the handset as repeater but I’ve sent someone far away with the handset.
