Are there any SDRs and associated programs (preferably open source) that can decode conventional P25 that's encrypted with ARC4/ADP? They key would be known and passed to the SDR/program. With my NanoVNA* it... 03-12-26, 15:06 pm Awhile ago I purchased on eBay a NOS Larsen NMOQ2/70B, an open coil 2m/70cm dual band NMO antenna (in theory an open coil version of the NMO2/70SH). With my NanoVNA* it has a very sharp match right at 140MHz. I'm talking VSWR of ~1.1 that rises quickly to the point it's above 2.0 before the top of the 2m band. The remainder of the VHF band is totally unusable. It matches better in the 70cm band, but the match was actually best just below the band at around 428MHz. Different mounting... Scanner squelch is at L1. RF gain turned all the way up. And I can't even get a transmission from the local NWS radio to come through. Which also eliminates any GPS/Zip code and timing issues since its on a 24 hour loop and doesn't depend on your location. I tried the included wire antenna.
