I have a Land Cruiser with a 3 ft Firestick mounted on the front bumper using a Wilson mount. I get that it's never going to be optimal, but its just for trail coms. The issue that I am having is SWR. I am using a NanoVNA to check it after my Astatic PDC1 showed the SWR to be very high. It is around 5.5 on ch 1 and 40 on the NanoVNA. It's a battery brand I never heard of but was willing to give them a try. For some reason when I put these batteries in my scanner they won't power the unit on. I put the old Duracell 2000Mah batteries back in and the unit powered right up. Not sure if new batteries being MWh is the issue. The Duracells are mAh. Anybody else had this issue?
