I have a scanner that is used for CPKC Railroad recording 24/7 Usually i listen live on a Zello channel. But when i want to listen to specific date i just listen thru the saved files on my FreeNas. To my big surprise all audio clip not mather the length have the same 15sec recording from Weather radio which state "Weather Radio Canada Dec 20th.... Over the last few weeks of course all the usual traffic on these systems has dropped off but I would still hear the occasional DOC transport or DHS PD transmission on the old NJSP systems... But I am now hearing Troop A transmissions (on the Troop C system) which is a first - I assume this is just an unusual situation, but can anyone provide any insight? View article »
