My use is FT8, local nets, some HF 6-40M mainly and CW coming. From PSK reporter I signal is getting out well and local UHF/VHF DSTAR contacts no issues. Wanting to localize the farm and it will be about 80 -100' away from the radio. The planned feed line is LMR-400DB. Or is there better less loss line? I am able to do individual... 02-13-26, 15:37 pm I have a NXDN GEN-2 trunking system with NXR-5800 repeaters. I have a KTI-4 unit connected to a model 30 with NX-3300k2 and k3 portables. I am able to do individual calls but am having troubles doing group calls. I did some research and what I found was to dial 22 and then the group ID. When I do that, it gives me a quick tone then ends the call. Is there something in KPG-110 that I need to setup to enable group calls? Is it something in the KTI-4 or the radio program? My question is, if I turn off the GPS, shouldn't I be able to manually change the System and Dept? Currently, if I try to do that I'm unable to and turning the knob does nothing when I hit the System or Dept button for example to change it. View article »

I had a couple of the really thin Ethernet cables with right-angle ends on my SDS200's poked in the space between my rack panels. I would put the upper panel as far up as it would go, and the lower one as far down as it would go. This worked fine and alleviated the need for me to cut mouse-holes in my rack panels, at least until it didn't...
