It is even showing on the scanner that it is in fact receiving a P25 NAC: But I cant hear Clackamas fire or ems at all. I've confirmed that I am missing traffic with the radio scanner apps. One thing I am wondering is if its maybe the antenna? it says RD-331 VHF/UHF. I can hear weather on the scanner but nothing P25 related has worked yet. View article »

So far, the Anyone and the SL7550 can talk together, and the XPR7550e and the R7 can talk together, but all 4 cannot talk together. I was assuming the XPR7550e and the R7 were using ARC4, but I must be missing something... The SL, XPR and the R7 have Enhanced Privacy (FREE). The Anytone is setup in the ARC4 settings... And the park is still listed as a national monument. I’m guessing the data hasn’t been updated for a long time since Saguaro has not been a national monument since the 90s. Thanks for any help. I added the sheriff DMR channel and a bunch of FMN channels. I am not using the antenna that it came with. I purchased the 830B Remtronix and it can reach up to 30 miles. I am not really getting anything right now and I am getting 2 bars for signal strength in Hoopeston. What are your recommendations for a longer range?
