Perhaps it's because of the low wattage the HT's use? My antenna is a ham 2m/440 MHz antenna mounted on the roof and am using an SDR dongle. Wondering how MURS actiity is in other areas? Thanks. Looking at what is known so far about the Uniden SDS150, I cannot see that it is an upgrade for me to the SDS100 that I already have. There are some things in the owner's manual that concern me, and that it is just another TV chip based receiver. I already have one of those. 02-17-26 Import channels and contacts BP56X With the HP series CPS software I'm able to export and import channels and contacts. I don't see that option in the CPS for BP-series. I’ve noticed that troopers only seem to use those talk groups when getting specific calls to accidents, wreck less driving, etc., but I have never heard them on there when doing just regular traffic stops on cars. Does anyone know what channel they talk with dispatch on when pulling people over or can anyone provide me with information on this??? View article »
