After buying the problematic Boafeng DR-1801UV its really put me off buying anymore DMR handhelds but I know I can't give up on my DMR dream because of one problematic radio. I guess its a question of live and learn when buying such radios. 01-22-26 "S" on the menu screen My menu screen on my TRX-2 shows a "S" instead of a "T" when scanning at times. Radio is truck mounted. My scanner is only scanning trunked systems on Ohio MARCS. When the "S" is present the radio is silent. I have brought along my SDS100 to listen also and it will pick up transmissions when this "S" is displayed on the menu screen. If the "T" is present the radio will receive. The SDS does out perform the TRX-2. And yes only two counites in my area are simulcast and they are about 20 miles... Read more View article »

01-22-26 SW 7 Hearing stronger signals down by Roseburg on 453.2875, 460.0000 and 460.6375 for about a week now. All show to be from Bear Mtn.. I faintly hear the data channel 453.4125. I am hearing LCSO 20001 E / EPD 20051 E / several fire tg's - 20391, 20205 and 20203. All are strong. And this morning I heard OSP Springfield 38130 many times but they are not listed on the SW 7? I do not hear the OSRP system. I hear these freq's while searching and not via trunk scanning.
