Does anyone know if these amplifiers will work for DMR? I know that DMR transmitters are rapidly switching on and off, but I don’t know if that makes a difference to the amplifier. View article »

I cut both wires to exactly 276cm then connected them to my Nooelec balun one nine v2. I hung it vertical. In this case I use the noise floor. I see a dip in the noise floor at 27.185MHz in between two peaks in the noise floor. Don't do this for actual transmitting antennas. This was just for reception experimentation. First issue: Based on this connector, is it just as simple as running the pre-installed coax to the radio in the most direct route possible with as little bending/crimping of the coax as possible?
