I have a SUV so it sets rather high. The compactenna works best for me with garaging the vehicle. I want to place the antenna on the luggage rail near the vehicle corner which the mount would be grounded to the vehicle chassis. I’ve noticed that troopers only seem to use those talk groups when getting specific calls to accidents, wreck less driving, etc., but I have never heard them on there when doing just regular traffic stops on cars. Does anyone know what channel they talk with dispatch on when pulling people over or can anyone provide me with information on this??? View article »
