I have a Retevis RT3S but I can't communicate with a digital frequency that uses Motorola Basic Privacy. I know the key and even after configuring everything I can't even listen or speak on the frequency, but they told me it was compatible, now I'm in doubt. View article »
02-13-26 Local MURS Activity I've been monitoring MURS activity in my area (West NJ) just out of curiosity and haven't come up with any comms. 02-13-26 Navigational Aids (VOR) Monitoring For years I was able to hear Morse Code from beacons in the 108 - 118 MHz segment of the aeronautical band. Lately, nothing's being heard. I noticed that the Oakland simulcast has several "site neighbors" such as the Wayne County simulcast site. When I switch to Wayne simulcast, I never hear any traffic from the Oakland county system.
