I did notice the frequencies that came with my SDS200 were different from the RR listing, however still not recieving anything. I do have a discone antenna in the attic. Any ideas? An option that turns on the backlight with a keypress and squelch. Not just separate options for keypress or squelch. It is always nice to have the display light up with a transmission, and also have it come on by just pushing down on the selector knob instead of needing to pick it up to press the power button. Th channel it detected and stopped on sounded like a familiar channel that normally is TG8000. What does the "i" prefix before the TG represent (i10000)? What does "(SRC) i0" represent? For instance there are a few times in Passaic County and Essex county that utilize more than one system. I know WO is simulcast but I generally put that into my home scanners and do what I do. I can't say I've ever heard any activity on there because and it was my understanding, that channel is normally used for large scale or mutual aid incidents. Due to it being P25, it's a little distorted so I'm having trouble understanding the exact location or anything that will identify it. Both are in very nice condition aside from a couple of scratches on the display. The seller said he had his radios in a plastic bag in a drawer for years. They both work great but have a horrible smell that gives me a headache. My wife thinks they have an air freshener smell but to me it smells like a cheap cologne like “Stetson.
