I am located in the Lake Charles area and can often listen to the Beaumont site using the same CC. Now I am affraid that may be the end of that with this new site. Not sure if it was just some skip I am picking up and not a 24/7 reception not allowing me to receive Beaumont any longer. View article »
06-18-26 DMR simplex help If anyone can help me set up a radio to radio DMR set up. Radio 1 is a Boafeng DM32 and radio 2 is a Motorola XPE3500e. Made sure the RX and TX frequencies are the same and made sure the color code is the same (cc:3) and the talk group ID is the opposite radios ID (ex: radio 1 have radios 2 ID and radio 2 has radios 1 ID) for a “private communication”. Encryption is OFF both radios are less then 1 foot away. Tried many different settings on the CPS but no audio is coming from both radios... Read more View article »

I'd be receiving from eastern Lake County (near Gurnee). I sit right on the Lake County simulcast (site 015) so that part I'm not worried about. The issue is McHenry.
