I have several XTL 1500, 2500, 5000 series that are missing some ADP encrypted transmissions, especially worse while scanning. There has to be something I'm missing unless the tuning on these radios are so far off.... The programming is the same as several other XTL series radios that seem to work fine. I had it running for over 30 minutes when I finally thought that was odd, not one single channel transmitting? I turned on my old analog uniden and instantly heard calls from different agencies. My SDS100 picked up nothing. I restarted it and it instantly started receiving again. This has happened a few more times in the last month. Software issue? it's not an antenna issue.
