When they assemble a military HMMWV, they paint all the aluminum body pieces before they assemble it, so the body itself is not a ground like in a regular vehicle. - The stud-mount is on an antenna riser and there is no continuity between the antenna side and the mount. - The underside... Once I got the radios programmed and working the way I want I purchased a couple new batteries (not Impress) off Amazon. One of the radios does not like either of these new batteries.
