Yesterday we unboxed Tait, Harris and Motorola portables for the 7 eval teams. The Kenwood dealer forgot to ship his radios. Each vendor is going to do a presentation Friday and the teams will have 3 weeks to test them. I like the N50 size and menu screen but could not find a way to read signal strength. Before it was barely coming through, and unless you were under box canyon it was very bad. Now the coverage is more wide spread and clear, from Indio to the cajon pass. Were there upgrades recently?
