06-04-26 St. Thomas Fire Has anyone noticed recent radio work done or changed to FD in St. Thomas. I can hear apparatus traffic but no dispatch communications. Pretty sure their new radios went in yesterday, though. When dispatch was on Repeater 2, no channel came up, but P25 code came on instead of DMR. Not sure if anyone knows anything or what. 06-04-26 SD Card File Error I have two SDS-100s. I've custom programmed a 4G SD card in each. I was able to successfully update Sentinel, update the DB, and fully overwrite one scanner w/o issue... 06-04-26, 14:56 pm I have two SDS-100s. I've custom programmed a 4G SD card in each. I was able to successfully update Sentinel, update the DB, and fully overwrite one scanner w/o issue as I've done many times before. I Powered down that scanner and plugged the other into the same cable. Sentinel acted as I expected but I am now not 100% certain that it updated the ESN of the connected scanner (still thinking earlier scanner is connected?). What are people having to pay for these and do they actually work well for their main intended purpose? How well does all the fluff features work? I've been having an eye towards the LDG tuners but this is a step up in the interface dept. to say the least. But pretty bows on top don't mean squat if doesn't tune well.
