03-09-26 New Jersey Interoperability Communication... Didn't really want to start a new thread but, are the old NJSP systems "not dead yet"? Over the last few weeks of course all the usual traffic on these systems has dropped off but I would still hear the occasional DOC transport or DHS PD transmission on the old NJSP systems... But I am now hearing Troop A transmissions (on the Troop C system) which is a first - I assume this is just an unusual situation, but can anyone provide any insight? View article »

Is it possible to build the PMKN4012B Programming Cable for my XPR 7550e, I mainly program it using WiFi through RM, but just found out that changing Radio ID requires USB Cable. Purchasing the original cable would be the last-ditch effort as it requires at least 30-60 days to receive any products from Amazon or AliExpress, without spending crazy amount of shipping charge. Or newer mobiles are NX-5700's while our portables are mostly Icom F3261's with a few Tait TP3300's starting to trickle in. For the radios that support it, I would like to see GPS position or at least unit ID reporting for those without GPS on PTT but finding a cross platform format that everyone will work with is proving difficult...
