I work for an upfitter that does radio, radar and laser repair. We do anual recerts of the units radar and laser I nits aa well. Been OJT for radar repair and will be going to Kustom's course some time this year. Looking something that hopefully does more than just reads questions and answers. RIDs: 2264375 to 2264385 were all were sending data... 04-15-26, 12:18 pm I’m seeing new talkgroups on the PPSTN in 2022. TG 6208 Encrypted no coms and TG 6209 Encrypted coms between RIDS. RIDs: 2264375 to 2264385 were all were sending data grants every 60 seconds. Seeing 2 to 6 RIDs on local site usually on Mondays and Fridays and one Tuesday. They usually show up around 10 am and are gone by 2:30 pm most action is in the hours about noon. It's been months since I have last heard anything other than the rare occasional "wrong channel" traffic. The Kenwood TM-D710 was somewhat infamous for this. Did Kenwood use those same filters in their LMR products? Specifically, I'm watching the used market for a TK-8180. Some of the ones I've seen for sale were, based on their serial number, produced in the "bad IF filter" window. Should I be concerned? View article »
