It is even showing on the scanner that it is in fact receiving a P25 NAC: But I cant hear Clackamas fire or ems at all. I've confirmed that I am missing traffic with the radio scanner apps. One thing I am wondering is if its maybe the antenna? it says RD-331 VHF/UHF. I can hear weather on the scanner but nothing P25 related has worked yet. View article »

Alot of agencies are planning on moving over to either the North Center or the South Center. Belwood PD and FD just signed over, and an IGA has been submitted to Melrose Park and Stone Park. September of 2026 Desplaines fire in moving over and November 2026 Leyden-Proviso agencies are scheduled to move over. Along with that there are 13 other agencies requesting IGA's. View article »

The anytone is mounted on the drivers side below and to the right of the steering wheel and the retevis main body of the radio is mounted on the passenger side of the center console. I had it running for over 30 minutes when I finally thought that was odd, not one single channel transmitting? I turned on my... 04-05-26, 17:51 pm I started noticing this in the last month. I had it running for over 30 minutes when I finally thought that was odd, not one single channel transmitting? I turned on my old analog uniden and instantly heard calls from different agencies. My SDS100 picked up nothing. I restarted it and it instantly started receiving again. This has happened a few more times in the last month. Software issue? it's not an antenna issue. The issue resolves with a system restart. View article »
