The bulk of them are just trailing spaces in the system name field. A couple are trailing spaces in the city name field. A Winnipeg system has lowercase characters in the WACN ID and SysID fields. 11-24-25 New Jersey Interoperability Communication... Didn't really want to start a new thread but, are the old NJSP systems "not dead yet"? Over the last few weeks of course all the usual traffic on these systems has dropped off but I would still hear the occasional DOC transport or DHS PD transmission on the old NJSP systems... But I am now hearing Troop A transmissions (on the Troop C system) which is a first - I assume this is just an unusual situation, but can anyone provide any insight? View article »

Since I use mine for monitoring, having to change antennas/use a diplexer isn't as convenient as just having two antennas connected. The 880 allows you to select Work Bands for each VFO individually; the 950 is a global setting for all 3 VFOs, meaning you can only have 64 - 999 MHz or 18 - 64 MHz available while in work mode. SDS 100 is definitely a better scanner just from the few hours of using it. The owner’s manual for the SDS 100 and the Uniden website offer little help in understanding the Sentinel software.
