Greetings all, I am new(ish) to the world of radio scanners and got a Uniden SDS100 for Christmas recently. I have been attempting to program it with the Sentinel software from Uniden, with a good deal of success. I am able to program in essentially everything I want but I have found that Sentinel is rather annoying and unintuitive to learn/use. I want to program a Kenwood TK-250 VHF handheld on frequencies between 144 to 174 MHz.

I used a "ham" version of the KPG-23D software which provided coverage from 146 to 174 MHz. I guess this is OK for the USA 2m ham band but the UK/Euro 2m band is 144 to 146 MHz.

I was able to program 2m frequencies between 144 to 146 MHz by "forcing" a low split 136 - 156 MHz codeplug into the 146 - 174 MHz radio. This worked OK but I also want to add some marine and other commercial frequencies above...
