On the Unidens it spends roughly a second on the site and then quickly does one scan through of the conventional stuff in a fraction of a second so the whole scan process is very lop-sided towards the trunked stuff. Of course a way to somewhat alleviate the issue is to set the conventional system's "Hold Time" to 1 second or more. I'm just wondering if that same issue happens on Whistler scanners. View article »

Side by side, my G5 appears to pick up all transmissions, while the XTS2500 seems to miss the start of a lot of communications and actually not receive some communications at all.
